A small device with a life-changing job
Wandering lays bare a painful truth about life with dementia and other conditions: risk and freedom are inextricably intertwined.
For more than two decades, WanderSearch Canterbury has given families a way to hold both. Our free radio-frequency devices mean a loved one can keep walking, gardening and living their life — while trained teams stand ready to find them fast if they ever go missing.
We’re run by a dedicated team and a network of volunteers, funded entirely by grants, donations and community support.

Working hand-in-hand with NZ Police & LSAR
Our devices are only as powerful as the people who respond. That’s why we work directly with NZ Police and Land Search & Rescue.
